I’m a car guy. That may be obvious, but it’s truly in my blood. I got my first job in the automotive industry when I was 13 years old, and I’ve been doing it ever since. My first car was a crashed BMW that I rebuilt myself. As soon as I was old enough to drive on the track, I became engrossed with getting the fastest times and optimizing my vehicles for track performance.
I had a variety of BMWs over the years, including an E36, E46 and F80 M3. Electric vehicles never even crossed my mind until I drove a Tesla Model S in 2015. I was really blown away by the driving experience, but at the time they were not at all practical as a track vehicle. When the Model 3 Performance was released in 2018 with specs more suited to track duty, the gears started turning. I purchased a Model 3 Performance at the end of 2018 and my journey of modifying and tracking the car began.
Over the last several years I have worked to share my knowledge and experience on forums and YouTube. I want to utilize my expertise and skills to help others get their EV on the racetrack, and, ultimately, help transition the racing community to electric vehicles.
